|I Am Inappropriately Invested: Fics I've Betaed Recently

So I'm thrilled to shrapnel about this: now I can share Lead me to the Truth, the Sherlock fic that lavellington wrote, with you. I have, as the title indicates, a deep and probably inappropriate level of investment in this story since I betaed in-depth for like a week, but I did that because I love it so freaking much. It's packed with gorgeously subtle metaphor and dialogue so spot-on that I was giggling practically any time anyone was talking. I am kind of insanely jealous that this is her fandom debut. If you're part of the fandom, read it. I promise you, you won't regret it.
I'm also kind of behind the times on reccing you the other awesome and gigantic Sherlock fic I did a lot of betaing for, because I have not been updating LJ hardly at all lately. You probably have already read it, because it's been a WIP for a while (it's finished now!) and Ivy Blossom is both an excellent writer and well-known in the fandom, but on the slim chance that you haven't, The Progress of Sherlock Holmes by ivyblossom is a Sherlock POV that really captures, for me, the way his mind works (and that's barely possible, just think of how sharp the man is). Ivy also interweaves her story with the Arthur Conan Doyle canon in intelligent, thoughtful, and creative ways: to find out how, read the story, I don't want to spoil it. Again, you won't regret it.
